Yelena: Tashkent, Uzbekistan; I am a woman in my fifties, I am a highly qualified professional artist, designer and teacher employed by an international school. Most people think that it is difficult and even impossible to find a good job, especially for women above forty. We have usually spent years being a housekeeper and nurturing our children; now, when the kids are old enough to look after themselves, women understand that we have lost our professional skills and knowledge by donating ourselves to our families. Reaching the age of serenity, we have the time, desire and opportunity to still be realized as a full member of society, to be useful for others, to have a blog in order to share our knowledge and experience.
